AFTER more than 30 years operating from Hunter Street, NIB Health Funds has moved into its new $37 million national headquarters at Honeysuckle.

The company's entire operations were transferred at the weekend so that NIB was open for business from 9am yesterday.

"Relocating the head office has been an enormous project for our business and every effort has been taken to minimise customer disruptions," NIB chief executive Mark Fitzgibbon said.

The six-storey tower in Honeysuckle Drive will accommodate about 450 staff across all the fund's business operations, including its call centre.

NIB is Australia's sixth-largest health fund and the only one listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
